Trevor Kessler - President
Trevor Kessler is the President of the Accounting Association for the Fall 2024 semester. As Trevor got more involved with AA, he met his circle of friends at CSUN and more professional doors opened for him than he ever imagined. His goal as President is to extend to our members a similar experience where they will be involved in our community, make lifetime friends, and find the career they never thought possible.
Trevor took a jump from member to Executive Coordinator in the Spring 2024 semester where he was in charge of coordinating the biggest professional development events we offer. In his free time, Trevor strives to live a balanced lifestyle with lots of hiking, working out, and relaxing at the beach. He hopes to build this balance within AA where members can both build themselves socially and professionally throughout their time in our organization.
Mariam Shirvanian - Vice President
Mariam Shirvanian is the Accounting Association’s Fall 2024 Vice President. She is entrusted with overseeing the Meetings team and is responsible for introducing and hosting technical meetings, alongside Beta Alpha Psi as well as Big 4 and Mid-Tier Panel. Before joining the Accounting Association, Mariam was a student at Glendale Community College. Soon she decided to transfer to CSUN after hearing about their exceptional accounting program. Joining the Accounting Association as a general member in her first semester as a transfer student, Mariam wanted to become more involved, later picking up a directorship in Student Activities. In his new role as Vice President, she hopes to provide a sense of community in which members can form life long bonds and help each other grow both professionally and personally.
Taylor Pak - Controller
Taylor Pak is the Accounting Association’s Controller for the Fall 2024 semester. Starting her accounting journey a year ago, Taylor first joined AA serving as the Membership director for Fall 2023 and as the Executive of Operations in Spring 2024. As the Controller, Taylor is tasked with handling corporate sponsorships and the organization’s budget handling. She also oversees Public Relations, which is in charge of weekly newsletters, monitoring the website, and crafting the Student Recruiting Handbook. Taylor is excited to serve her local community and enable her peers to persevere and grow professionally.
Zannatul Mim - Treasurer
Zannatul Mim is the Fall 2024 Treasurer for the Accounting Association. She is entrusted to handle the club’s expenditure forms and oversee the Membership director, which includes organizing the membership drive and designing executive, director, and member apparel. Zann was previously a director for Marketing and Media in Fall 2023 and Executive Administrator in Spring 2024. Stepping into her new role as Treasurer, Zann wants to encourage students to join AA to be actively involved and create lifelong professional connections through this program.
Junicarl Ferido - Executive Administrator
Junicarl (Juni) Ferido is the Accounting Association Executive Administrator for the Fall 2024 semester. Having served as director for Student Development, Monday Meetings, and Executive Controller, she is excited to continue her journey with AA and serve the CSUN accounting community. She oversees Mentorship and is in charge of coordinating the mentorship program, specifically the mentorship mixer.
Darren Le - Executive of Alumni Relations
Darren Le is the Executive of Alumni Relations for AA’s Fall 2024 semester, as well as overseeing Student Activities. Transferring from Pasadena City College, Darren joined AA as a Director of Public Relations in Fall of 2023 and later became the Vice President in Spring of 2024. His current responsibilities include maintaining an open communication and relationship with alumni, and also creating sashes for AA members who are graduating. He highly encourages transfer students to get engaged with clubs and make a lot of connections.
Suzy Kokhlikyan - Executive of Operations
Suzy Kokhlikyan is the Executive of Operations for AA’s Fall 2024 semester and is overseeing marketing and media. She is responsible for AA’s social media to show students what AA is like and to keep students up to date regarding upcoming events. She has previously been a marketing director in Spring 2024 and enjoyed her time and experiences, which made her want to continue to support the club. By overseeing the marketing and media team, Suzy wants to make sure that AA is creatively represented.
Vivek Gudhka - Executive Coordinator
Meet Vivek Gudhka, the Executive Coordinator for the Accounting Association this Fall Semester. With a passion for helping others, Vivek is leading key events like the Networking Workshop and Mock Interviews, all aimed at empowering students on their professional journeys in Accounting. Starting as a Director, Vivek quickly grasped the inner workings of the association and is now stepping up to make an even bigger difference. With the support his talented team—Alondra, Joseph, and Joshua—Vivek is committed to providing invaluable exposure and guidance to his fellow students, helping them navigate the recruitment process and secure internships. Having personally gained so much from these events, Vivek is excited to share his insights and experience, so others can achieve their professional goals too.
