Alex Medina - President

My name is Alex Medina, and I am a first-generation returning college student attending CSUN. I transferred from SMC where I learned Japanese and played football (I played Center, part of the O-line). I have a husky named Luke who I take on fun car rides and hiking adventures from time to time. My hobbies include photography, drone flying, practicing a martial art called iaido, and playing video games when I have the time.

This semester, I was given the opportunity to become President of the Accounting Association at CSUN and I am taking the opportunity to help improve the organization establish a better connection between professionals and our student members. I plan to help our student members have more potential opportunities and encourage more exposure to the profession with projects like revamping our Networking workshops, Mock interviews, expanding our community outreach, and collaborating with our other business majors including BAP through my connections with CalCPA, Becker, and professional contacts.
