Exclusive Events

NETWORKING WORKSHOP

Students obtain help from professionals that come from different firms, to develop their interpersonal skills. This event occurs the week before Meet the Firms so students can feel prepared to network at the big event. Exchanging information on challenges, experiences and goals is a key benefit of networking because it allows students to gain new insights that you may not have otherwise thought of. Note: will be in-person for the Spring 2023 semester.

MOCK INTERVIEWS

Professionals come to volunteer to conduct an emulation of a job interview to help students practice their interviewing skills. This event occurs after Meet the Firms and around the time applications are due so students have time to practice before they are invited to the actual interviews for internship & full time positions. Students will also have plenty of time to practice consistent eye contact and positive body language, as well as display confidence and enthusiasm. Note: will be virtual for the Spring 2023 semester.

Mentorship Mixer

Students can sign up to become a student mentee or student mentor and join the Mentorship program.

  • Student mentees get paired with both a student and professional mentor that will provide guidance and advice throughout their recruiting process.

  • Student mentors get paired with a student mentee and are encouraged to build a rapport throughout the semester.

  • All members that are part of the program are invited to the Mentorship Mixer to connect with other mentees and mentors.
