Executives
Trevor Kessler - President
Trevor Kessler is the President of the Accounting Association for the Spring 2025 semester. As Trevor got more involved with AA, he met his circle of friends at CSUN and more professional doors opened for him than he ever imagined. His goal as President is to extend to our members a similar experience where they will be involved in our community, make lifetime friends, and find the career they never thought possible.
Trevor took a jump from member to Executive Coordinator in the Spring 2024 semester where he was in charge of coordinating the biggest professional development events we offer. In his free time, Trevor strives to live a balanced lifestyle with lots of hiking, working out, and relaxing at the beach. He hopes to build this balance within AA where members can both build themselves socially and professionally throughout their time in our organization.
Vivek Gudhka - Vice President
Meet Vivek Gudhka, Vice President of the Accounting Association this Spring! Alongside his talented Meetings Directors, Ava & David, he will be hosting weekly Technical Meetings and organizing the Big 4 and Mid-Tier Panels in collaboration with Beta Alpha Psi. These events give students a closer look at different accounting firms, their cultures, service lines, and career opportunities, while also covering key soft skills that are crucial for their careers. Vivek transferred to CSUN from Santa Monica College a year ago and has been involved with the club since day one! Starting as a Director and later becoming an Executive Coordinator, he quickly learned the inner workings of the association and is now stepping up to make an even bigger impact. Passionate about helping others, Vivek is dedicated to guide students as they navigate recruitment and their academic journeys. Having personally gained so much from these meetings, he’s excited to share his insights and experiences to help others reach their professional goals too!

Leading a team of three directors - Kiara, Alondra and Aram - she is dedicated to growing membership and creating a strong sense of community within the organization.
Tam Tran - Executive Coordinator
Tam Tran serves as the Executive Coordinator of Accounting Association for Spring 2025. She is responsible for planning and executing student development events aimed to provide members with the skills and professional network essential to getting internships and/or full-time offers. The first main student development event is Networking Workshop, where Tam invites professionals from various firms to come and provide 15-20 minute networking sessions for students who are new to networking and would like to practice before coming to Meet The Firms. The second main student development event is Mock Interviews, happening after Meet The Firms. This event follows a similar format, where students get a chance to practice interviewing with professionals in preparation for their actual interviews. Tam is also looking to plan additional events such as Recruitment Workshop and Internship-Ready Workshop, to help students who either did not get an offer and are looking to try recruiting again next semester, or for those who already have an offer and are wondering on how can they prepare themselves for their internship.
